Listen to ” Could Have Been Me”  :

Flauce

Allowing God to use him without resisting his purpose in life is “Flauce”.  Through his experiences and the grace received from a higher power; he delivers a message to restore what appears to be broken in the HIP HOP community “The Truth”.   Flauce is an American Christian Hip Hop artist with the smoothness of Jay-Z and lyrical profoundness of the late Big-L.  Born in South Jersey, now currently residing in Raleigh, NC this rapper brings something to the table for everyone to enjoy and receive. However, there is a story behind the curtains of his life.

2001 marked the year when the New Jersey born Flauce burst on the scene.  Attending Saint Augustine’s College having opened for national acts such as Petey Pablo, winning local talent shows in Raleigh, NC, and performing the club circuit. In 2002, Flauce opened for Jadakiss and Styles P at St Augustine’s College. That same year he also performed shows with Lil Jon and The East Side Boyz, Mobb Deep, and Lil Scrappy. Flauce won the BETCollege Campus Rap Tour in 2003 which opened more doors for him. When the summer of 2004 rolled around, Flauce was engaged in local performances and on the road for the Coca-Cola Promotional tour. Somehow in the middle of all that, he still managed to win the And 1 Source Mixtape MC Battle.

In 2006, Keep It Moving Records signed Flauce and pushed his name out even farther. Opening for acts such as Huey, Lil Boosie, and Slim Thug in 2007, Flauce released two singles (“Breathe” and “Living In The Lights”), a music video (“Breathe”), was performed at TJ’s DJ’s Ozone Awards Showcase in Miami.  In 2009 he finished a mixtape titled “Take It Personal” , which was hosted by Dj Skillz and Dj Flash (formerly Little Brother’s Dj). After joining VisionInternationalChurch, having meetings with the pastor, and experiencing situations that left him feeling convicted, in the middle of 2010 Flauce gave his talents to God and began to serve a higher power through his musical gifts.  Since then Flauce has been performing in Gospel Explosions, and various showcasing.  He has been a featured artist on Hot 97 Dj Cocoa Chanel blog site.  She stated “the same day I heard his music he was featured on my site for the 1st time that has NEVER been done on my site before… that’s how much I was feeling him”. She mentioned there is something special about Flauce, his style is street, he can go head to head with any signed artist or Battle rapper BUT he has a message… that’s what separates him from the rest. His music isn’t PREACHY at all; it’s inspiring in a testimony type of way… When asked what inspired him to change he replied “My change came not only in my music, but in my life because I wasn’t happy and I felt empty…So many people encouraged me to do inspirational music or Gospel rap, but I couldn’t because I was not living that type of lifestyle. It’s amazing how God works and how life experiences will humble you and make you reflect on your choices, your energy, and purpose. I’m not perfect, but everyday I practice perfection… My goal is not to be this iconic MC, which was my worldly desire. My purpose is to change lives or hopefully inspire change. I’m blessed and honored to have been given this ability to touch people and now it’s time to lead them in a more meaningful direction.

Here’s another single from Flauce – “Hard To Get” :

Flauce is now working on his first album release titled “Awakening”.  This is a reflection of God’s love and grace that I am reprogrammed have a more concrete foundation spiritually. Flauce continues to make his mark in the industry and the world by focusing on a more important purpose, and that’s reaching out to the youth and those that are lost and helping them find a way back to salvation through music ministry. “There is a lot of footage out there that shows me rapping and putting negative energy into the world, but I see that as my past and viral doctrine of how my life use to be, now people can see my transformation and say I want to change and if he can do it there is still hope for me, I believe every saint has a past and every sinner has a future”.  Ladies and gentlemen, Flauce is not just here to entertain you, he is here to inspire change.
