The non-profit organization “An Act of Kindness Outreach” is spearheading a trip to take supplies to those affected by the devastation in Oklahoma.
An Act of Kindness is a non-profit organization here in the Triangle area, that serves the homeless and less fortunate.
Because of their passion to assist those in need, they are calling on our local community for support in providing assistance in the Disaster Relief efforts of Oklahoma.
Donations and supplies are being accepted at Victorious Praise Fellowship Church (2116 Page Road in Durham). We are hoping to partner with other area churches so additional drop off locations can be communicated later this week. Monetary gifts can be deposited at any Suntrust bank to An Act of Kindness Outreach or dropped off at Victorious Praise Fellowship attention Wanda Thomas/An Act of Kindness Outreach.
They are in need of cleaning supplies, bottled water, toiletries, brooms, rakes & shovels, heavy duty trash bags, work gloves, towels and washcloths, and blankets.
For more information call: 919-389-4860
All donations are tax deductible.
