Charles Ramsey is the man/neighbor who came to the rescue and helped the women in Cleveland who were held hostage for years, escape from their captors.
Ramsey tells CNN’s Anderson Cooper that he is “no hero” and that he was only doing, “the right thing.” Ramsey says he heard a girl scream “like a car had hit a kid,” and he ran from his living room to the house and broke down the door to help her get out.
Ramsey also told Cooper that he wasn’t interested in any reward money and to give that money to the girls because he had a job.
