The Wake County Board of Education on today is expected to give final OK on a controversial resolution to end mandatory year-round school assignments. Earlier this month, board members voted 5-4 on the measure, which some say will give parents more options when it comes to where their children may attend school. That meeting will happen this afternoon at 3pm.
