Wake County parents will have a chance to weigh in on the proposed student assignment plan. Wednesday night the school board is hosting the first of three public hearings.

After the controversy that came with the choice plan implemented for this school year, the Wake County School Board is ready to listen to parents as they make yet another change to student assignment.

Wednesday night’s public hearing is from from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Sanderson High School in Raleigh. People interested in speaking can register online or in person an hour before the meeting starts.
