The state Department of Transportation is already making sure their trucks are good to go as the winter season approaches. Many counties are conducting dry runs in light of the wet, snowy weather the season may bring.
It may be a warm day in the Tar Heel State, but DOT officials said they’re prepared for winter’s worst.
