Two former Fort Bragg soldiers pleaded guilty Monday in the 2008 murder of Sergeant Christina Smith. Former Sergeant Richard Smith and former Private Matthew Kvapil are charged with first-degree murder and will serve life in prison without parole. Sgt. Christina Smith was stabbed to death while walking with her husband, Richard Smith, near their home.
