Yeah it was the first day of school but for some parents it doesn’t matter when their elementary schooler returns home at 6pm.
A handful of parents in a Brier Creek complex were tremendously affected by the adjusted start and end times in some of the schools.
Parents were left waiting for hours at the bus stop for their children to return from school. Many were worried and called the transportation department but got no answer.
The elementary school students were a bit frightened as well, but the transportation department asks all to be patient as they work out the kinks.
