The Triangle and surrounding areas saw snow flurries overnight, but the majority of the snowfall didn’t stick for long Monday morning. The wintry weather could return on Thursday, according to WRAL meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner.
Cold air continues to spill into the area, bringing wind gusts up to 25 or 30 mph, making the Triangle’s already cold temperatures feel even more frigid.
