Researchers and developers from around the world are converging on Raleigh for the 19th annual World Wide Web Conference at the convention center downtown. Organizers say the event will focus on the future of the internet and the impact of new technologies on society and culture. Previously, the conference has been held in Madrid, Beijing and in Paris. It will run through the end of the month.
