Although we may have had a partly sunny Christmas Eve, temperatures will dip overnight and rain will begin to move in on Christmas Day. We can expect to have rain and warm temperatures and the rain should move in early Christmas morning, with highs reaching into the mid-50s. We can expect Christmas Day to also be breezy with a chance of thunderstorms south and east of the Triangle. The rest of the weekend should be dry.
