We’re always advised to slow down in work zones. Now troopers will inforce that advice with Operation Drive Smart 2010. Beginning today troopers will be out catching dangerous drivers in work zones in efforts of reductin the number of traffic crashes in road construction sites. Some of our local zones that they will be monitoring include:
* 1-40 in Sampson and Duplin counties
* 1-40 in Wake County
* 1-40/1-540 in Wake and Durham counties
