The Raleigh City Council could make some big decisions on recent hot topics at Tuesday’s meeting, including the proposed $205 million public safety center that is back on the agenda. Last month, the council was split in their vote about the new Clarence E. Lightner Public Safety Center project, so the proposal failed. The 17-story, 300,000-square-foot building would house the police, fire, emergency communications and information technology departments.
