A Harnett County deputy shot and killed a heavily armed 13 year old boy early yesterday in a confrontation outside a Cameron convenience store. Corporal Assman was shot in the leg during the incident and was treated and released. The name of the teen has not been released but has been said that he was an Overhills Middle School 8th grader who lived with his parents in the Anderson Creek Community.
