October is National Bullying Prevention Month and St. Hope Foundation recognizes the need to bring attention to the issue. Bullying should never be tolerated.

STAND UP For Others Week

This week is STAND UP for Others Week and the folks at StompOutBullying.org are asking the young people in our community to be brave and Stand UP for others when seeing someone being bullied. Bullies have been known to back off when others stand up for victims. If you don’t feel safe get the help of an adult immediately. Be part of the solution — not the problem!

About National Bullying Prevention Month

National Bullying Prevention Month is a national campaign founded in 2006 by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center. The campaign is held during the month of October and unites communities nationwide to educate and raise awareness of bullying prevention. Traditionally held the first week in October, the event was expanded in 2010 to include activities, education, and awareness building for the entire month.
