ebola virus

Another health care worker who was taking care of Thomas Eric Duncan, the first Ebola victim in the US, has been diagnosed with Ebola.

The CDC says, they could have done more …. “missed an opportunity to catch the Ebola virus.”

Well what now…. it looks like the second healthcare worker took Frontier Airlines Flight 1143 from Cleveland to Dallas-Fort Worth on Monday, the day before her diagnosis.

The airplane’s crew said the nurse did not show in symptoms during the flight but developed a fever on Tuesday and was diagnosed Tuesday night.

Infected Ebola patients are not considered contagious until they have symptom, but the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is asking the passengers to call the health agency so they can be monitored.

The CDC is asking passengers on the Monday flight to call 1-800-CDC INFO (1-800-232-4636).
