If you order scrambled eggs or an omelette at IHOP and want them made with 100% REAL EGG (cracked from the shell) you need to specify that when you order. By default, scrambled eggs are made with Egg Beaters (or an equivalent egg substitute). I found this out this weekend while at breakfast with my Mom. I asked for Egg Beaters and she asked for scrambled eggs. When our plates hit the table I noticed that both sets of eggs looked and tasted the same. When I asked the waitress what was the deal she inquired and returned with the news. She admitted that it was the first time she had heard that.
To be honest, it really doesn’t matter to me. With me being on this health-conscious tip, I need all the help I can get. #WhoKnew #StillDelicious
