One of Durham’s most favorite excercise and walking sites has been attacked again.
A man was walking on the American Tobacco trail around 12:30p.m. on Saturday when he was beaten with a tree limb. Officers say it is still not clear if there was more than one person that attacked the man.
More Police officers have been put on alert along the trail to insure the safety of those who walk but many find it safier to walk in pairs.
