If you can’t beat them, then leave….. 

Since President Obama re-election victory last Tuesday the White House has received numerous request from states wanting to withdraw from the union.  Most of the petitions have come from the states in the deep south with Texas leading the way, with more than 22,000 signatures, with 25,000 signatures in 30 days being the threshold to get an official White House response.

In all, petitions have been filed on behalf of 20 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
