Jessica Reedy didn’t win the BET Sunday Best contest in season II, but she won something much better. The contest taught her to have faith in God’s gift to her – her voice. With that faith, Reedy now has found a home on Light Records and a new album “Put It on the Altar.” On Tuesday, she stopped by the Praise Charlotte’s studios to talk with Praise Charlotte’s Melanie Clark about her amazing journey from hopelessness to hope. When Reedy walked into the studios she was greeted by a throng of fans participating in a meet and greet with Donald Lawrence. The fans immediately recognized her and embraced her. Reedy stunned by their affections sobbed. She was overwhelmed by their reaction. Reedy’s tears didn’t stop there. She cried even harder when she talked with Clark. Praise Charlotte’s Clark was one of the preliminary judges in the BET Sunday Best. Reedy was falling apart during the contest. Clark pulled her aside, calmed her down and gave her the confidence to sing and now soar.
