State Attorney Angela Corey’s office announces she will not ask a grand jury to determine if charges should be filed in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman.

Attny Corey says decision not to use the grand jury is not a factor in her final determination of the case. She gave no indication when a decision on whether or not to file charges would be made on Zimmerman.

Reports say this doesn’t mean that  a grand jury won’t be used at all, it just will not be used in determining whether charges will be filed on Zimmerman. This decision also gives the prosecutor more time but now it means there is no deadline to decisions or arrest being made in the case.
