Radio One affiliate stations across the country are participating in the fifth annual Radio Cares for St. Jude Radiothon kicking off on April 5. Collectively, the stations will encourage radiothon listeners to donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, one of the world’s premier pediatric cancer research centers.
The live broadcast will begin at 6 a.m. during the Yolanda Adams Morning Show. At the conclusion of Adams’ show, participating stations will continue the radiothon until 11 p.m. Station listeners can donate to St. Jude by calling 1-800-411-9898, or by visiting local affiliate station websites during broadcast hours.
