NC State Follows UNC’s Lead To Raise Tuition

NC State’s Board of Trustees is expected to vote on tuition increases Friday morning. Thursday, a trustees committee recommended raising tuition by 6.4 percent, or about $330.
Tuition for graduate and out-of-state undergraduate students would increase by $660. School officials say they would use about 35 percent of the money for need-based financial aid.
