During the month of October, Myron Williams is fighting for two important causes with his latest album release. “Thankful” will be an integral part of his campaign to generate awareness about domestic violence and inner-city hunger.

“Right now people are hurting and crying out for relief. Economically we are living in a time where people are not able to afford their basic needs.  One of the tragedies that I am starting to hear about more and more is the lack of food in homes across the nation. In some homes the only time children get healthy meals is when they’re at school, and that breaks my heart. Another concern I have is the increased reports in the media about women being killed in domestic disputes. Being someone that has seen the affects of domestic violence, I cannot sit quietly while millions of women are being assaulted each year and many of those women sit in the pews of churches in our communities.” Williams stated.

Flow Music and Entertainment has partnered with Myron Williams Ministries and the new youth initiative, Teens With A View in a campaign called, STOP HUNGER NOW!  Proceeds from the sale of “Thankful” will be contributed to STOP HUNGER NOW!

Since the domestic violence in Juanita Bynum’s life became public, Williams is dedicated to bringing more awareness to the issue. As a personal statement against Domestic Violence he has pledged to donate a portion of records sales in the month of October to a Domestic Violence Shelter in his hometown of Dallas, TX.
