Donovan McNabb tried to down play his homecoming to Philadelphia. This was McNabb’s first visit to his former team since his trade to the Washington Washington Football Team during the off season. In the end the final results were what McNabb had hoped for a victory over his former team. The Philadelphia fans were very receptive of McNabb’s return and greeted him with a standing ovation prior to kick off. McNabb lead the Washington Football Team to a 17 – 12 victory.
