I had a great time in chat with Mary Mary and their fans from all over the world. It always amazes me how much gospel music is loved all over the world. To me it’s the music that I heard constantly growing up, but I love that so many people worldwide love it as much as I do. It was a great chat filled with comments and questions (that were going super fast!) about everything from the Mary’s hairstyles, to their new music, to their writing process and everything in between.
I asked the Mary’s if they were going to be doing Sunday Best again this year. I expected to hear that they were excited about the new season, but instead they said that BET would not be bringing Sunday Best back. What!!??? Of course, I asked why, and they just said that we would have to ask BET. That bit of news kinda bummed me out because I like Sunday Best. I thought it was great show that was getting better and better each season. It’s a great step for a lot of aspiring gospel artists. Maybe it will come back in another form or on another network. We can hope………
