A Durham police officer has been charged with breaking and entering and extortion. Wake County sheriff’s deputies arrested 31 year old Stephen Patrick last Friday in connection with a November home break-in in Wake Forest. He is also accused of threatening the homeowners. According to an arrest warrant, Commander “unlawfully, willfully and feloniously” broke into a residence and did “threaten and communicate a threat.” Commander is out of jail on a $3,000 secured bond.
